Hotwheels for Hope was founded by Raphael McGlynn when he was in the 6th grade (2017). He was supported in the beginning by his classmate Niels.
My name is Raphael and I am 14 years old. I grew up bilingually in German and English. I have been to Germany many times and have grandparents there.
I live with my mom, dad, and cat. I like to ride my bike, play sports, and read books. The sports I play are soccer and basketball. In the future I would like to be a scientist or engineer.
I was inspired to help the children of the world after I heard a story about Syrian refugee children. So I decided to give the children a little bit of joy by giving them small toy cars.
